Fashion Diary

Happy Friday my brilliant friends, the fashion diary is back with chic work outfits that can easily dressed up and worn to after work events (like happy hour) yet are still appropriate enough for a day in the office full of meetings that lead to more meetings!  I also included one of my summer denim looks because who doesn’t love a pair of light denim jeans with some strappy nude sandals! This week’s post also features some of my favorite wardrobe pieces that I buy in multiples every season because they are versatile, come in different colors and fabrics every season and take a lot of the thinking out of putting together a great outfit. So here are my favorite looks of the week!

multiple alert!! The pants are the Jcrew Patio Pant in cotton, I have both wool and cotton versions in at least 5 colors.  These pants are comfortable and figure flattering! The top from H&M.

another multiple alert!! The skirt is Jcrew No.2 Pencil Skirt in cotton, again I have both wool and cotton versions in many, many colors.  Its the only pencil skirt I have that actually sits on my waist and doesn’t rise to my chest! Also the skirt is machine washable, which makes it kid-friendly (or sticky finger friendly!)  The top is from Banana Republic.

The top is by New York and Co. and the pants are by Jcrew.

The top is from Forever 21, the Jeans are from Gap (True Skinny) and the nude sandals that have been is so, so many pictures this summer are by White Mountain (yes!) and they have been my savior this summer!

I hope you enjoy the looks, have an amazing weekend!

Sincerely,

Fractured Brilliance
